Setting up a productive training environment
Our training goal is help you become proficient with our software as quickly as possible. To achieve this goal, we like to create the feeling of an off-site training center at your location, to ensure that the sole focus is learning.
To support this, we recommend that you move workstations into a "training room" and restrict outside interruptions. Each class should have a maximum of sixteen attendees, with no more than two students per terminal. We find that when the training environment is set up in this manner, students receive the most benefit from our instruction.
A partnership for success
In preparation for a customer-site class, it is expected that Siemens PLM Software and our customer fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Course material for up to 16 students
- Siemens PLM Software-certified instructor
- Temporary software license – if needed – for the students attending the course
- Student certificates following the successful completion of the course
- Adequate training environment (distraction free setting with ample space; lecture and workshop in a combined facility, etc.)
- Adequate computer equipment (one graphics station per student is suggested) with software currently installed
- Audio/visual equipment (computer projector and screen)
- Any specified breaks, lunches, etc.
