Course Description
Expert NX tool designers will acquire the skills to significantly reduce progressive die design lead time through Progressive Die Wizard automation. The curriculum mimics common tasks used in die construction and is reinforced using hands-on activities. Additionally, students are introduced to customization techniques needed to fully realize the potential of the Progressive Die Wizard libraries.
This course is intended for:
- Progressive die designers & product design engineers who create progressive die tooling
Intermediate to advanced
In order to provide a high quality education experience to our customers, all students must meet the prerequisites before attending this class.
- Essentials for NX Designers or Practical Applications of NX course
- And Intermediate NX Design and Assemblies or Design Applications using NX course
- Or Learning Advantage equivalents and assessments
- Progressive Die Wizard Online Help tutorial
- Understand these concepts: modeling in NX, NX assembly concepts and have a basic understanding of progressive die design
- Have a working knowledge of the NX interface, sketch creation and NX assemblies
- It would be helpful to have taken either the Sheet Metal Design Process (or) NX Sheet Metal course, but it is not required
